Persuasion works after the buyer feels understood. Before that, it just creates resistance.

Persuasion has a sequence. Most coaches skip the first half.

The common mistake

Jumping into pitch mode before the buyer has felt seen. Framing benefits, dropping proof, pushing toward the close before the buyer has even processed their own problem.

The sharper reframe

Recognition before persuasion. When the buyer feels accurately understood, the next move feels invited. When they do not, every persuasive line feels like pressure.

What this means for high-ticket coaches

Slow the front of the call down. Diagnose before you prescribe. The selling gets easier the moment the buyer feels seen.
